A DEVELOPMENT LITERACY PACKAGES ON WORD SPELLING FOR PRATHOMSUKSA 3 STUDENTS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) To develop  the  literary packages on  word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students to be effective as the 80/80 criteion; 2) To find the effectiveness index (E.I.) of literary packages on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students; and 3) To evaluate Prathomsuksa 3 students’opinions regarding to the liteary packages on word spelling.

           This research was quasi-experimental research. The study sample were 25 Prathomsuksa 3 students in Wat Yannawa School, selected by simple randon samping method. The research instruments included 4 sets; 1) literary packages on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students; 2) learning management plan;  3) achievement test; and 4) satisfaction assessment. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation.

           The results of the research were as follows:

1. 1. A development of literary package on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students was efficient as 81.80/86.20 which was higher than the 80/80 criteria.
2. The effectiveness index of a development of literary packages on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students was 0.7058 which meant that, after being taught by using a development of literary packages on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students, achievement significantly increased 70.58 percent
3. The satisfaction of Prathomsuksa 3 students towards literacy packages on word spelling for Prathomsuksa 3 students were overall at highest level.
