DEVELOPMENT OF MATH LEARNING ACTIVITY SERIES ON ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION BY USING EDUCATIONAL GAME FOR PRIMARY EDUCATION 2 STUDENTS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: To develop a math learning activity series on addition and subtraction using educational games for Primary Education 2 students to be effective according to the 80/80 criteria; To study the math learning effectiveness index of Primary  Education 2 students by using the math learning activity set on addition and subtraction by using educational game; and To study the students satisfaction with the math learning activity set on addition and subtraction by using educational game.

            This quasi-experimental research. The population group was Primary Education 2 students at Ban Had Hong School, totaling 20 students. Research instruments were math learning activity series on addition and subtraction by using educational games for Primary Education 2 students; learning management plan; achievement test; and satisfaction measure on mathematics learning activity series on addition and subtraction by using educational game for Primary Education 2 students. The statistics used to analyze the data were the arithmetic mean, and the Standard Deviation.

           The results of the research found that: An effective math learning activity series on addition and subtraction by using educational games for Primary Education 2 students, was higher than the specified threshold (E1/E2), equal to 81.63/85.83; The index of effectiveness of the math learning activity set on addition and subtraction by using educational game for Primary Education 2 students was 0.7709 when the students used the math learning activity set on addition and subtraction by using educational game for Primary Education 2 students. Educational games for Primary Education 2 students showed progress in their studies, accounted for 77.09 percent; and the students' satisfaction with the math learning activity series on addition and subtraction by using educational game for primary school Primary Education 2 students overall, was at a high level.
