Guidelines for the Development of Innovative Teaching and Learning Management of Small Schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research are;1) to study the state of teaching and learning management in small schools, 2) to study development methods in teaching and learning management in small schools, and 3) to propose guidelines in development of teaching and learning management in small schools under the Office of Phra nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area 1. The mixed research methodology was used in the study. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaire from 226 samples and analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were obtained by in-depth interviews with experts and analyzed by content analysis.

             The results of the study showed that:

1. 1. The opinion on the state of teaching and learning management in small schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area 1 was at a high level totally. The highest level was on curriculum, followed by instructional media and evaluation respectively.

The development methods in teaching and learning management in small schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area 1 consists of; 1) Problem analysis, 2) Development framework, 3) Development objective, 4) Innovative attribute, 5) development process, 6) Learning innovation design, 7) Innovation development plan, 8) Innovation check and test, and 9) Conclusion and evaluation.

The guidelines in development of teaching and learning management in small schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area 1 are as follows; educational innovation and technology should be implemented, teaching and learning management system should be based on modern media and technology, and the measurement and evaluation should be relevant to learning activities.
