Abstract

This article discusses the importance of promoting digital hygiene in university libraries, which is crucial in developing responsible and secure technology usage skills in the digital age. Library users should possess skills in protecting personal information, using secure passwords, being aware of cyber threats, and utilizing digital tools effectively. Organizing training sessions and seminars on digital hygiene can enhance users' knowledge and skills in these areas. University libraries should provide relevant resources and tools, and create appropriate learning spaces to support responsible technology use. Therefore, promoting digital hygiene in university libraries is essential for developing users' digital skills in an era of rapid technological change.
