Abstract

This article studies the meaning and relation of the term “disruptive technology” with the term “technological disruption.” Also, it explores the meaning of religion through technological disruption. The result of study shows that the term “disruptive technology” has both positive and negative implication, while the term “technological disruption” has also positive and negative signification. Technology of 21^st century does not destroy the existence of any religion, but disrupts its meaning in the substantive aspect. While the substantive aspect of religion is disrupted, the structural as well as the functional aspect of religion are maintained to serve the scientific and technological advanced discoveries.
