Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Budget Disbursement for 2013 Fiscal Year of Department of Lands

Abstract

            The objective of research entitled Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Budget Disbursement for 2013 Fiscal Year of Department of Lands were to study the factors that affect performance of Department of Lands in executing budget disbursement for 2013 Fiscal Year, and to propose suggestions to improve efficiency in doing so. This study was a quantitative research. The questionnaire was used as a research tool. The population consisted of 140 officers from Planning Division, Finance Division and Supply Division (for procurement and party conventions and Construction Management), Department of Lands. Statistics used to analyze quantitative data were frequency, percentage, mean for testing the hypothesis, to evaluate the relationship between variables using statistical analysis, the chi-square test and the correlation coefficient, Gamma for the direction between variables with level of statistical significance at .05.

           The findings were the performance level of the 2013 budget disbursement of Department of Lands is low. The factors associated with efficiency of budget disbursement for 2013 Fiscal Year of Department of Lands and other factors were the duration of the operation, the work plan, job skills, work in progress, regulations relating to the operation with the level of statistical significance.05. But levels of education was not affected the efficiency of budget disbursement for 2013 Fiscal Year of Department of Lands.
