Management Factors Affecting the Teamwork Efficiency of Employees the 5-Star Hotels

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the level of efficiency in teamwork and organizational factors of 5-star hotel employees; 2) compare the teamwork efficiency of 5-star hotel employees classified by personal factors, and 3) to study management factors affecting the efficiency in teamwork of employees the 5-star hotels used questionnaires as a tool to collect data with 242 5-star hotel employees using descriptive statistics, t-test, F-test and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study found that 1) the efficiency in team efficiency in both overall and each aspect was at a high level, ordered as the quality of the work is the first, the second is the conflict reduction followed by the installation of the responsibility of knowing the role and the development of creativity, productivity, and friendship, respectively. 2) Hotel employees with different lead times have different efficiency in teamwork. While hotel workers with different gender, ages, education levels, average monthly income, and job position were not different in team efficiency, and 3) The management factors of trust, assignment, roles, working methods, development of a strong team affect the teamwork efficiency of 5-star hotel employees.
