Evaluation of Eco-City Strategy according to Lamphun Provincial Development Plan 2018-2022 fiscal year 2020

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the implementation of eco-city strategy according to Lamphun provincial development plan 2018-2022 the fiscal year 2020 2) survey of satisfaction with eco city Strategy according to Lamphun provincial development plan 2018-2022 the fiscal year 2020. This research is a mixed method. Quantitative research, sample group includes 400 people who live in the project area/activities strategies according to Lamphun provincial development plan and relevant government agencies, and qualitative research, 13 people of key informants included executives, personnel from government agencies and the private sector involved in the provincial development plan and fiscal year 2020. The tool used for collecting data was the 5 rating-scale questionnaires and interviews. Statistics used in data analysis included meaning, percentage, frequency, and standard deviation. The results of the study found that 1) government action plan for fiscal 2020 and Lamphun's development strategy are consistent with government policies and national plans. Especially the eco city strategy, factors that contribute to the implementation of eco-city strategy according to Lamphun provincial development plan consist of (1) personnel, (2) budget, and (3) technology system. 2) satisfaction with eco-city strategy, that overall level is very high. By complacency with participation in projects/activities by eco-city strategy, the average value is the largest of 4.78. The second is satisfaction with reporting projects/activities by eco-city strategy.
