Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the levels of government policy, innovation and creativity, marketing strategy, and creative management of OTOP store-standard products in Eastern Thailand, and 2) analyze the influences of government policy, innovation and creativity, and marketing strategy on the creative management of OTOP store-standard products. The study employed quantitative survey research. The sample consisted of 320 OTOP store entrepreneurs from seven provinces in Eastern Thailand. The research instrument was a five-part questionnaire, with reliability coefficient was 0.969. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The findings showed that marketing strategy had the highest mean score (X̄ = 4.24, S.D. = 0.61), followed by creative management of OTOP store-standard products (X̄ = 4.20, S.D. = 0.66), innovation and creativity (X̄ = 4.13, S.D. = 0.68), and government policy (X̄ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.66). The alternative model was consistent with the empirical data, with χ² = 58.87, df = 45, p = .0804, χ²/df = 1.31, GFI = 0.98, AGFI = 0.95, RMR = 0.004, RMSEA = 0.028, CFI = 1.00, NNFI = 1.00, and CN = 465.97. The standardized path coefficients indicated that government policy had direct influences on marketing strategy and creative management of 0.60 and 0.25, respectively; innovation and creativity had direct influences on marketing strategy and creative management of 0.28 and 0.31, respectively; and marketing strategy had a direct influence on creative management of 0.41.
