The Factors Influencing the Success of Information Technology for OTOP Product in the Online Market of Entrepreneurs in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the levels of technology acceptance, management, management innovation, and information technology success for OTOP products in the online market among entrepreneurs in the Eastern Economic Corridor, and 2) analyze the influences of technology acceptance, management, and management innovation on information technology success and examine the consistency of the model with empirical data. This study employed quantitative research using a survey method. The sample consisted of 320 OTOP entrepreneurs operating in online markets in the Eastern Economic Corridor. The research instrument was a questionnaire, with IOC values ranging from 0.60 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.970. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results showed that: 1) all four variables were at the highest level. Management innovation had the highest mean (X̄ = 4.40, S.D. = 0.58), followed by information technology success (X̄ = 4.35, S.D. = 0.62), management (X̄ = 4.28, S.D. = 0.63), and technology acceptance (X̄ = 4.24, S.D. = 0.62), respectively. 2) The adjusted model was consistent with the empirical data (χ² = 69.76, df = 62, p = .233, χ²/df = 1.13, RMSEA = 0.020, CFI = 1.00) and showed positive paths from technology acceptance and management to management innovation, as well as from all three factors to information technology success. The findings reflect that information technology success in online OTOP businesses is associated with technology acceptance, management, and adjustments in business operations working together.
