The Development of Composing English Sentences on Present Perfect Tense for Mathayomsuksa 2 Students in Watkhemapirataram School by Using Exercises

Abstract

This research aimed to compare the level of student’s ability to compose English sentences on Present Perfect Tense to the criteria of 70 percent. The sample group was 32 Mathayomsuksa 2/13 students studying at Watkhemapirataram School by using the purposive selection method. The research instruments were writing exercises and subjective post-test. The statistics used in the research were mean and standard deviation. The result showed that the students’ abilities in composing English sentences on Present Perfect Tense after being taught through exercises were significantly higher than the criteria of 70 percent.
