Learning Process to Encourage Soft Skills for Occupations of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to analyze Soft Skills and Soft Skills development activities of students at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and 2) to propose the activities for developing Soft Skills of students at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. This research is mixed-Method research that uses quantitative research to explore and analyze the Soft Skills for developing activities that students need. The tool used a questionnaire of 120 students and interviews with 5 persons to present the activities for Soft Skills development activities to students. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results showed that Soft Skills at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts students Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Need to consist of 5 skills: Leadership Development, Social Etiquette, Adaptability, Innovation Development, and Emotion, Mind and Concentration Control. By the nature of the activities can be divided into Workshop activities performance activities Contest activities in various areas both domestically and internationally.
