A Development of Thai Clusters Pronunciation Workbook in the primary school students grade 5 at Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop of Thai clusters pronunciation workbook in the primary school students grade 5 of Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School with standard of 80/80 2) to compare the students’ achievement of Thai clusters pronunciation for the primary school students grade 5 of Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School, between before and after using the workbook. The research sample group in were 30 primary school students grade 5 at Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School, who were studying in the first semester of the academic years of 2018. The sample of this research were selected by purposive sampling. The tools used in the research were. 1) five Thai clusters pronunciation workbook, and 2) Thai clusters pronunciation achievement test. The data were analyzed by percentage (%), mean ( ), Standard Deviation (S.D.) and dependent samples t-test. The results of this research were as follows: 1. The efficiency of Thai clusters pronunciation workbook in the primary school students grade 5 at Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School was 93.89/85.44. 2. Thai clusters pronunciation in the primary school students grade 5 at Bansong (Prachakorn Bumrung) School after using the workbook was significantly higher than before using the workbook at the 0.01 level.
