Guidelines for Developing the Operation of Student Sleepovers in Secondary School under Tak Secondary Educational Service Area Office

The purposes of this research were to study the conditions, the problems and find the guideline for the development of boarding student management of secondary schools under Tak Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The samples consisted of 317 persons anmely 37 school administrators 40 teachers who lived in the dormitory and 240 boarding students and 17 experts. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an interview. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution (f), percentage (%), mean () and studentard deviation (S.D.).
The results revealed that (1) in general, the condition of boarding student management of secondary schools was at the high level. The highest mean was student quality. The highest level of problem of boarding student management of secondary schools was found that the school did not improve the operation of student support system. (2) The guidelines for the development of boarding student management of secondary schools under Tak Secondary Educational Service Area Office were: 1) the school should set the administrative structure. The committee for boarding student management should be set. 2) The school should set the plan and the evaluation tools for student behavior assessment. 3) The memorandum of understanding (MOU) of schools and related organization for training vocational skill should be set. 4) The results of boarding student support system should be considered for setting the plan of helping risk students. 5) The tools of skill evaluation should be provided. 6) The school should appoint the committee for the provision of students’ food and also allow the students be the committee.
