A Comparative Prisoner Classification

The purpose of this article “A Comparative Prisoner Classification” is to make a comparison study on prisoners classification among the developed countries so as a guideline for increasing effective prisoners classification in Thailand. The study shown that prisoners classification is an important mechanism for the success of prisoner treatment process including security, education and vocational training, and all other penal administration activities. Thus, prisoners classification is necessary for the individual treatment of prisoner in response to their need from admission to release from prison.
