Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for Academic Submissions

Page Setup:

  • Paper Size: A4, White.
  • Orientation: Portrait.
  • Margins: Custom margins with Top/Bottom: 2.5 cm and Left/Right: 2.0 cm (or use "Normal" setting with 1 cm gutters if applicable).

Typography and Format:

  • Software: Microsoft Word (Version 2010 or 2016).
  • Font: TH Sarabun New for the entire document.
  • Symbols: Use Symbol font only for special characters (size matching the surrounding text).
  • Page Limit: Maximum 15 pages, including abstract and references

 

Section 1: Abstract

Title: * Place at the top of the page in both Thai and English (separate lines).

  • Maximum 2 lines per language.
  • Font: TH Sarabun New, 15 pts, Bold, Centered.
  • Line Spacing: Exactly 16 pts.

Author(s) Name:

  • Full names in Thai and English (separate lines).
  • Place 1 line below the English title, aligned Right.
  • Font: TH Sarabun New, 12 pts, Bold. Line Spacing: Exactly 14 pts.
  • Affiliations: Use numbered superscript footnotes after the last name.

Footnotes: * Insert via "Insert Footnote" (Automatic numbering: 1, 2, 3...).

  • Font: TH Sarabun New, 10 pts, Left-aligned. Line Spacing: Exactly 10 pts.

Abstract Content:

  • Provide both English and Thai versions (English first).
  • Total length: Not exceeding 300 words and must fit within one A4 page.
  • Headings ("Abstract" / "บทคัดย่อ"): TH Sarabun New, 14 pts, Bold, Centered. Line Spacing: Exactly 16 pts.
  • Body Text: TH Sarabun New, 14 pts, Justified (or Thai Distribute). First line indent: 0.5 inches. Line Spacing: Exactly 16 pts.
  • Content Structure: 1) Rationale/Significance, 2) Objectives, 3) Methodology, 4) Results/Findings, 5) Conclusion and Discussion.

Keywords: Provide 3 keywords for each language, separated by commas (",").

 

Section 2: Full-Text Content

The full text should include: Introduction, Instruments and Methods, Results, Discussion, Summary, and References.

  • Section Headings: TH Sarabun New, 14 pts, Bold, Centered. Line Spacing: Exactly 16 pts. (Leave 1 blank line before each new section).
  • Body Text: TH Sarabun New, 14 pts, Justified. First line indent: 0.5 inches. Line Spacing: Exactly 16 pts.

Content Details:

  • Introduction: Covers the problem, background, objectives, and Literature Review.
  • Instruments and Methods: Describe methods and equipment used (no bullet points/numbers needed).
  • Results: Present findings with concise descriptions, supported by tables or figures.
  • Discussion: Analyze findings in relation to existing theories/research, highlight key points, and offer suggestions for future research.
  • Summary: Briefly summarize the essential findings and empirical evidence.

Citations and References (APA Style)

In-text Citations: Use the Name-Year system.

  • Thai: Jinda (2536) or (Sivaporn & Salakjit, 2536).
  • English: Jackson (1967) or (Murashige & Skoog, 1962).
  • 3+ Authors: Use "et al." for English (e.g., Schaad et al., 1992) or "และคณะ" for Thai.

Reference List:

  • Font: TH Sarabun New, 16 pts. Line Spacing: Exactly 13 pts.
  • Format: Hanging indent (0.5 inches).
  • Ordering: List Thai references first (alphabetical by first name), followed by English references (alphabetical by surname). Sort by year (oldest to newest).

Illustrations and Others

  • Figures/Photos: High resolution. Black & White preferred (Color only if necessary, min. 9.0 x 13.5 cm).
  • Wrapping Style: Set layout to "Behind Text".
  • Thai-to-Roman Transliteration: Follow the Royal Society of Thailand (ORST) system.
  • Degree Symbol (°): Use "Alt+0176".
