Abstract

The purpose of this research aims to study the potential of tourism logistics management for elderly tourists in Phatthalung and the potential of tourism logistics management in Phatthalung between Thai and foreign tourists who have previously visited Phatthalung. The questionnaire was employed to be the research instrument for collecting data from 172 Thai and foreign tourists. The data analysis methods used in this research are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test independent.


The results revealed that the potential of tourism logistic management for elderly tourists in Phatthalung was well-evident via the potential assessment form. Elderly tourists evaluated the potential of tourism logistic management in physical flow and found it too was well. The potential of tourism logistic management in information flow and financial flow was moderate. Furthermore, the comparative results of Thai and foreign tourists in potential tourism logistics management were not different overall, with a significant of 0.05%. However, there were two issues of tourism logistic management that were different in the opinions of Thai and foreign tourists; the convenience of reaching each tourist destination and the convenience of using ATM services.
