การศึกษาเชิงเปรียบเทียบผลประกอบการทางการเงินของธุรกิจโรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยและตลาดหลักทรัพย์สิงคโปร์

บทคัดย่อ
จากดัชนีความสามารถในการแข่งขันด้านการเดินทางและท่องเที่ยว (TTCI) และอัตราการเข้าพักโรงแรมในปี 2019 สิงคโปร์ได้รับการจัดเป็นอันดับหนึ่งในภูมิภาคอาเซียน การศึกษาเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลประกอบการทางการเงินระหว่างธุรกิจโรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย (SET) กับธุรกิจโรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์สิงคโปร์ (SGX) ช่วง ค.ศ. 2016 – 2019 การศึกษาใช้การวิเคราะห์อัตราส่วนเชิงเปรียบเทียบเพื่อประเมินผลประกอบการทางการเงินในส่วนของสภาพคล่อง ความสามารถในการบริหารสินทรัพย์ ความสามารถในการชำระหนี้ และความสามารถในการทำกำไร การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ Independent Samples T–Test เพื่อเปรียบเทียบอัตราส่วนทางการเงินระหว่างโรงแรม 2 กลุ่ม ๆ ละ 10 แห่ง
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อัตราส่วนเกือบทั้งหมดแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ โรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยแสดงผลประกอบการที่สูงกว่าด้านความสามารถในการบริหารสินทรัพย์ อัตราผลตอบแทนจากสินทรัพย์ และอัตราผลตอบแทนต่อส่วนของผู้ถือหุ้น ในทางตรงกันข้ามโรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์สิงคโปร์แสดงผลประกอบการที่ดีกว่าด้านสภาพคล่องและความสามารถในการชำระหนี้ ในการเพิ่มพูนความสามารถในการแข่งขันต่อไป โรงแรมที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยควรเพิ่มสภาพคล่องและความสามารถในการรองรับภาระผูกพันทางการเงิน
