Abstract

This research aims to explore the circular economy system of scrap textiles in Ganzhou City by conducting in-depth research on the types and characteristics of regional waste materials, on successful fashion brands, and to synthesize and construct guidance for the sustainable development of the textile green economy in Ganzhou City. This study will provide theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting the green transformation of the textile industry in Ganzhou City.

The researcher employed a mixed-methods research design by using SWOT strategic analysis in order to analyze internal conditions, identify strengths and weaknesses, and determine core competitiveness. In addition, the researcher systematically presented a strategic management approach, which was based on an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with developing a circular economy industry for textile waste in Ganzhou City. Additionally, the researcher studied the process of creating a strategic management model to promote sustainable, green economic development within the textile industry.

The findings indicated that Ganzhou City has partially implemented the circular economy system. There is a large amount of waste and textile scraps, consisting of textile waste from industrial factories and old textile scraps from used clothing, amounting to 40,000 tons per year. In addition, Ganzhou city recycled various types of textile processes, such as wool, cotton, and synthetic fabrics. The analysis of textile scraps revealed that establishing a systematic recycling plan is necessary to maximize the benefits of recycling textile scraps. This should begin with studying the amount of waste, separating different types of textiles, and proposing specific development strategies for Ganzhou city. This approach should align with sustainable product development in the creative economy.
