The Model Development of Scout Activities Management with Participation to enhance the desirable characteristics of learners, Thetsaban Wat Pho School, Chonburi

Abstract

The purposes of this research were; to study the problems of scouting activities in schools, to develop model, to validate the appropriateness of the model, and to monitor the students' desirable behavioral outcomes. The research procedure were; 1) To develop model was divided into three phases: the first phase was related to the research conceptual framework building, which consisted of document and research analysis, the second phase was related to the development of the model by employing a Delphi Technique to get results from opinions of seventeen experts, and the third phase was verifying the appropriateness of the model from opinions of twenty school administrators and scout teachers, 2) Follow-up on the outcomes of the students' desirable behaviors from the assessment of learners' behavior before and after using the developed model by school administrators, basic education board, teachers, parents, and students. The statistical devices used for the data analysis were frequencies distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median and interquartile rang. The result were as follows;
