Abstract
This research investigates the genre of content on television show ’ fan page as well as the use satisfactions and the behaviors of readers. The research employed two research methods : content analysis with three television show fan pages (Reaunglaoshownea , Thubthoakaow Amarin 34 and Thairath News Show) from 15 to 22 January 2019 (952 samples)and online questionnaires with their readers from 15 January to 15 April 2019 (400 samples). All data have been analyzed through a classical descriptive and inferential statistics using Frequency ; Percentage ; Mean and Standard Deviation (S.D.) ; T-test groups; One-way ANOVA ; and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
Regarding to the content analysis, the study shoes that crime news were mostly found on
television show fan pages. The majority of post used text with the photo/picture and streaming and their content were linked with their news website (s). Reaction was the most popular reaction among readers. Concerning the online questionnaires, the study shows that the majority of readers followed Reaunglaoshownea , Thubthoakaow Amarin 34 and Thairath News Show fan page , respectively. They also followed other television show fan page. Television show fan page readers tended to be both genders, 19-35 years old (Gen Y or Millennial) , highly educated, private company officer with a middle income (10,000-30,000 bath per month) they mostly used Facebook from 16.01 to 22.00 pm, vai mobile phone on a daily basis , more than 7 times per day with a session of 15-30 minutes. Using Facebook at home was the most popular option. They agreed that information , entertainment and social contact were their’television show fan page using motives. The intensity (or seriousness) of television show fan page using were rated in s high level.
According to hypotheses testing results, there was no difference in the satisfaction of television show fan page using among readers with different demographic characteristics (gender , age , education , occupation and income ) , there was no difference in the intensity of television show fan page using among readers with different demographic characteristics (gender , age , education , occupation and income ) , and the satisfactions of television show fan page using among readers positivety associated with the intensity of television show fan page using.
