Abstract

The “jealousy” theory is a supposition that explains the truth in the secrecy level of information which is important to a person or an organization that wants to rationally preserve it. The degree of jealousy is classified into four levels including extreme jealousy, high jealousy, low jealousy, and no jealousy, in which each level implies different significances. The “jealousy” theory can be applied in research or any other general educations. In the dimension of music, which is the art that the musicians have finely crafted, the core contents in the areas of thinking processes, practical techniques, and ultimate skills are greatly important for the artists, music offices, or music institutes. That is, they are highly valued for jealousy. In conducting music research, the researchers need to determine the existed complexity because the music teachers or musicians, selected as sample population in the study, might or might not give cooperation and information. The researchers must respect the decision of the informants. This notion must be applied to both the informants and information. The researchers must have an ethic, research ethic, and responsibility in all
