Modernity of Camera and Photographs of Indonesia during in Colonial Era

Abstract

This article aimed at the presentation history of understanding towards the history of the neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, Which could be said that it was one of an important agenda for current social science education. This article would
point out the development of the modernity of cameras and photographs of Indonesia during the colonial era. By which those photographs have become one type of evidence that had been used to study the past in various issues and played a vital role towards social discourse creation for the countries under the rule of the colonial countries.
