Abstract
The purposes of this research were (1) to develop a local curriculum on the topic of the Elephant Cemetary at Jiang‘s Forrest temple in Surin for Matayomsuksa 2 students under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. (2) to study the quality of the local curriculum in these aspects (2.1) the efficiency of the local curriculum according to the criteria 80/80 (2.2) the learning achievement of students before and after learning the local curriculum. (2.3) the student's satisfaction towards learning the local curriculum. (2.4) the satisfaction of stakeholders in developing the local curriculum. The results of this research were as follows (1) The local curriculum consisted of a handbook of local curriculum and a handbook for learning management of local curriculum. (2) The quality of the local curriculum was (2.1) The efficiency of the local curriculum was at 83.02/83.64. (2.2) After using a local curriculum the post-test scores of learning achievement of the experimental group were significantly higher than the pre-test scores at .05 level. (2.3) The satisfaction of students was at a high level. (4.2) The satisfaction of stakeholders was at a high level.
