Reinforcement of Proper Characteristics of Religious Loveliness Entitled Five Basic Buddhist Precepts and Five Dharma Using Dramatic Dance Set for Grade 6 Students

Abstract

This research aimed to study the reinforcement of proper characteristics of religious loveliness entitled five basic Buddhist precepts and five dharma using dramatic dance sets. The sampling group was the grade 6 students of Anuban Jumphol
Phophisai School in the academic year 2017, that were sampled using the purposive sampling method with a total of 20 students. The research tools were the questionnaire of behavioral problems following the proper characteristics of religious loveliness, the instructional handout, the instructional plan, the learning achievement test form, the practical evaluation form of dramatic dance set, the satisfaction questionnaire, the evaluation form of appreciable awareness and attitude, and the behavioral evaluation form following the proper characteristics of religious loveliness. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, E1 / E2 value, E.I. value, and Dependent Sample t-test. The research found that the grade 6 students had behavioral problems following the proper characteristics of religious loveliness at a high level, Χ = 4.42. Then, the dramatic dance set reinforcing the characteristics of religious loveliness entitled five basic Buddhist precepts and five dharma using dramatic dance was created and developed, which had the efficiency after using at 88.81/92.67 with the effectiveness index at 79.23 percent. These provided the learning achievements after studying higher than those before studying with statistical significance at .05. The students had practical skills of dramatic dance overall at a very high level, Χ = 3.60; had the appreciable awareness and attitude in five basic Buddhist precepts and five dharma overall at a high level, Χ = 4.39; performed themselves following the proper characteristics of religious loveliness overall at a high level, Χ = 4.44; and had the satisfaction overall at a high level, Χ = 4.49. Besides, they were behaviorally tested following the proper characteristics of religious loveliness after 2 weeks; then, the observation found that they had positively changed at high level, Χ = 4.52
