Self reform for becoming the Professional Teacher

Abstract

The teacher is the important profession toward on human resources, educational system, and national development in future. The quality teachers of the nation will indicate a sign of a good trend in quality human resources. Thailand focuses on the importance of teachers' potential development in order that teachers will have competencies and abilities for main personnel in national development. Thai educational reform occurred in the year 1999 and teachers, faculty of teachers, and educational personnel was included. That is the whole educational system which involves teacher development, teacher profession control, and personnel management. The changes in 21 st century, which affect the lives of many people,
the education system must develop and respond to the changes that happen, Formerly, the education system focuses on students with just Literacy skills, while education in the 21 st century must focus on the students to learn,
practice and inspire along the way. Students have to find what to call “learning by doing” and pursuit.
