Abstract

The rapid change in technology affects all sectors including agriculture, industry, communication, telecommunication, business, and people’s lifestyle. The Thai government has a policy of “Thailand 4.0” to drive the country towards the digital
economic era that emphasizes using innovation and technology including financial and accounting transactions under the strategy of National e-Payment and technology and innovation development such as Cloud Computing, Optical character recognition, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data, which are used to increase business competition ability. As a result, digital accountants need to adapt their minds, develop themselves in learning and using technologies, build up relationships with other departments in the organization in order to gather information from every department to analyze and predict the future and write a report for the management team so they can use it for strategic planning, risk planning, and business expansion as well as effective organization management.
