The Feasibility Study on Community Justice Establishment for Dispute Resolution: A Study of Khaokitchakut District, Chanthaburi Province

Abstract
The problem of the Thai justice system today is mainly due to the large bureaucratic mechanisms and the use of resources a lot. The process of justice in many stages takes a long time. As a result, the number of lawsuits that enter into the court process has increased which leads to the problem of “division of cases and offenders “ as well as the lack of channels for public participation in the justice system. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the mainstream justice system. Thealternativejusticesystem by creating a mechanism for public participation in the justice system at the sub-district, village, and community level, in which the government needs to support, develop and promote the operation of the public sectors in the form of Community Justice Centers, Community Justice Volunteers, and Community Justice Network in order to promote social justice. This will lead to a reduction in the number of cases that enter the court and the number of prisoners that have too much currently, as well as lead to strengthening a community that has potential and safe and harmonious or reconciled society furthermore. Based upon this principle, that must be a law on community justice due to currently there are no clear guidelines for public participation injustice according to the community justice concept, and there and no laws to support the working of related departments or organizations. As a result, the objectives of the mentioned operation cannot be achieved. Therefore, it is necessary to stipulate the laws that encourage public participation at the justice community level to be a tool for the promotion of public participation in community justice and support of the operation of related departments or organizations. Hence, it is important for the academic personnel of law subject to use the learning and teaching process that focuses mainly on the student center and provide an opportunity for the students to work with the community and local in order to acknowledge problems and find solutions together with people in the society and local to be an element for knowledge transfer which will promote stronger community justice process. According to this research, comments from the group discussions clearly show that fighting is not suitable for communities that have tried to solve political problems.Disputes and can better dispute disputes than bringing the case to court in all cases
