Similarities and differences among arts programs for persons with disabilities are discussed with a focus on Very Special Arts Art programs in the USA and the Art for All programs in Thailand. Other examples of arts programs for individuals with special needs in the USA and Canada are also presented. A case for ways the Art for All programs can become an instrument for social change and a model of a creative urban community is also made.Downloads
