The Management of Student Affairs to Prevent Bullying Behavior among Students in Expanded Educational Opportunity Schools under the Office of Chumphon Primary Educational Service Area 1

Abstract

This mixed-method study aimed to examine the severity of bullying behaviors, the state of student affairs management, and the strategies for preventing bullying in opportunity expansion schools under the jurisdiction of Chumphon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample group comprised administrators, teachers, students, and educational personnel from 43 schools. Data collection tools included questionnaires and structured interviews, with statistical analyses involving frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings revealed that: 1) Bullying behaviors among students were observed at a moderate level. Social bullying was the most prevalent form, followed by physical and verbal bullying, with cyberbullying being the least common. 2) Verbal bullying was identified as the most critical issue by personnel, who recommended increasing guidance activities in order to address it.3) Prevention and problem-solving included promoting student participation, establishing clear policies, and providing education on the impacts of bullying
