Backgroud : The increasing prevalence of psychological crises among university students poses significant challenges to campus stability and traditional management approaches, requiring a shift from static regulatory frameworks to more dynamic and integrated governance systems. Objective: This study investigates the key determinants of psychological crisis governance performance in universities, specifically examining the predictive roles of Institutional Capacity, Collaborative Synergy, and Information Governance. Methods: A cross sectional quantitative design was employed to survey 400 undergraduate students at Yibin University, China. Data were collected using a self-developed questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The instrument demonstrated high reliability and validity (Cronbach's α > 0.97; KMO = 0.980). The hierarchical regression model explained 84.8% of the variance in governance performance. Information Governance was the strongest predictor (β = 0.847, p < 0.001), followed by Collaborative Synergy (β = 0.115, p < 0.05), while Institutional Capacity had no significant direct effect (β = -0.039, p > 0.05). Conclusion: Information governance and collaborative synergy are the primary drivers of psychological crisis governance performance in universities.
