The Effects of Management Team on Perceived Phuket Hotel Performance

Abstract
In this dissertation, the first objective is to study the effects of management team on organizational justice on effective team and on service quality. The second objective is to study the effects of organizational justice on effective team and on service quality. The third objective is to study the effects of effective team and on service quality and on the perceived Phuket hotel performance. The last objective is to study the effects of service quality on the perceived Phuket hotel performance. The research was conducted using the mixed-methods research approach. In the qualitative research, in-depth interviews were conducted with twelve key informants. In the quantitative research, data were collected using a questionnaire on 410 personnel in Phuket hotel and sample size was calculated from Cochran (1977). The descriptive statistics used in the analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation, and the inferential statistics were the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings are as follows: Management team has a positive effects on organizational justice (TE=0.98) and effective team has a positive effects on perceived Phuket hotel performance (TE=0.81). The findings were congruent with the hypothesis at the statistically significant level of 0.05. While management team has a positive effects on effective team (TE=0.97), management team has a positive effects on service quality (TE=0.96), organizational justice has a negative effects on effective team (TE=-0.01), organizational justice has a negative effects on service quality (TE=-0.17), effective team has a positive effects on service quality (TE=0.82) and service quality has a positive effects on perceived Phuket hotel performance (TE=0.63), the hypothesis at a statistically significant level of 0.05 is not supported. This research collects data under the epidemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Findings indicated that the summaries of the data obtained in the course of conducting in-depth interviews were congruent with the aforementioned results of the quantitative phase of this research investigation that management team has to adjust the strategic management to match the future traveler behavior that care about hygiene, use organizational justice to reach the full potential of employees, build effective team to enhance business performance and build a competitive advantage to adjust and develop to continue.
