Volunteer Leadership of Off-Duty Seal Case Study: Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nangnon Forest Park Search and Rescue Operations

Abstract
The objective of this research were to (1) study the volunteer leadership characteristics of an off-duty SEAL (2) study the voluntary development process of SEAL. It is a qualitative Research through academic papers research and in-depth interview by semi-structure interview from 9 key informants of off-duty SEALS who work in private companies, state enterprise, and freelancers, and content analysis. The research results showed that (1) the volunteer leader of the SEAL comes from military training on SEAL’s course through the training process includes 14 volunteerism of leadership qualities.This leads to a casting of mental and body cleanup to become strong SEAL and carry along forever in life.(2) the voluntary development process of off-duty SEAL consists of four steps: preparation, implantation, construction and screening, and evaluation. Therefore, when there was a crisis, all came back to be part of the team.It shows that all those trained SEAL came from the same cast, wherever they are, always be the great white sharks of the waves and would fight together. As the mission of search and rescue operation at Tham Luang - Khun Nam Nang Non, wherever they are, they come back to help each other for the team to complete the mission.
