Chinese School on the High Mountain Area of Chiangrai

Abstract

Chinese schools in Thailand had a long history. In the early stages of the establishment of the Chinese school, it was not only a place for education, but there was also an important goal that was training in politics. However, the Chinese schools on the high mountain area was an educational institution that has developed the quality of life for the descendants of Chinese. At present, Chinese schools had received attention from both Thais and Thai- Chinese people. The Chinese school faced personnel problems, curriculum problems, equipment and material problems, budget problem, and the problem of buildings and schools are very old. So, these schools had been faced up with the danger of developing, even closing down in the future. This article aimed to present the Chinese school on the high mountain area of ChiangRai in 6 aspects were, 1) the history of Chinese school on the high mountain area. 2) personnel 3) curriculum 4) building and location 5) equipment and material 6) budget.
