The Use of Mind Mapping Activity to Support Japanese Reading Comprehension of Undergraduate Students with Fundamental Knowledge in the Course Japanese Language 3

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to compare students’ s Japanese reading comprehension before and after learning through mind mapping activity. The population group consisted 16 undergraduate students from Payap University enrolled in the course Japanese Language 3 during the 2nd semester of academic year 2022. The research instruments consisted of 8 lesson plans using mind mapping activity and Japanese reading comprehension test. The Japanese reading comprehension test was administered before and after students learned through mind mapping activity. The research were analyzed by t-test and standard deviation. The findings of this study revealed that the students’ Japanese reading comprehension increased after learning through mind mapping activity at .o5 level.
