วิญญูชนกับพลังแห่งจินตนาการ: บทวิเคราะห์การสร้างชุมชนมีมนุษยธรรมในหลุนอี่ว์

Abstract

บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาบทบาทของวิญญูชนกับการสร้างชุมชนมีมนุษยธรรม โดยชี้ให้เห็นความสำคัญของพลังแห่งจินตนาการว่าสามารถนำไปสู่การสร้างชุมชนมีมนุษยธรรมได้ โดยพลังแห่งจินตนากรของวิญญูชนจะแสดงออกผ่านการ "เล่น" กับมนุษยธรรมเพื่อที่จะสร้างบรรทัดฐานมนุษยธรรมให้เกิดขึ้นตลอดจนสามารถนำไปสู่การสร้างตัวตนทางคุณธรรมและการสร้างชุมชนมีมนุษยธรรมได้ในกระบวนการเดียวกัน นอกจากนี้วิญญูชนยังได้ใช้พลังแห่งจินตนากรในการล้อเลียนสังคมในสมัยนั้นเพื่อชื้อให้เห็นถึงสถานการณ์ที่กำลังเป็นปัญหา ซึ่งเป็นการวิพากษ์สังคมอย่างแหลมคมและมีลักษณะเสียดสีต่อตัวตนของขงจื่อเองและต่อสังคมสมัยนั้น

The Noble Man and The Imaginative Power: An Analysis of Construction of The Ren (Humanness) Community in THE ANALECTS

This article is an attempt to explicate the role of the noble man in elaborating the possibility of the ren (humanness) community as an ideal community. It argues that the noble man’s imaginative power sheds new light on the cultivation of ren as a normative. This is achieved by mastering or “playing with” the concept of ren which is to reveal principle and practice the constitution of an ethical self and a simultaneous construction of the ideal community. Moreover, by utilizing the noble man’s imaginative power as a form of “critique”, this imagination could investigate the problematically chaotic circumstances and also raise crucial questions to the social environment of Confucius’s time. These critiques prove to be ironic both for Confucius himself as well as for the society of his time.
