พันธกิจนักประพันธ์กับสังคมร่วมสมัยในนวนิยายของปิยะพร ศักดิ์เกษม

Abstract

บทความวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาพันธกิจนักประพันธ์จากนวนิยายของ ปิยะพร ศักดิ์เกษม โดยศึกษาผ่านชีวประวัตินักประพันธ์และการสำรวจแก่นเรื่องในนวนิยายที่เป็นกลุ่มข้อมูล ผลการศึกษาพบว่านวนิยายของปิยะพร ศักดิ์เกษม นำประเด็นในสังคมร่วมสมัยมาใช้สร้างสรรค์วรรณกรรม ได้แก่ ประเด็นเรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็ก ปัญหาครอบครัว ความเสมอภาคทางเพศ แนวคิดสิทธิมนุษยชน รวมทั้งการใช้พุทธธรรมเป็นหลักยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจและใช้แก้ไขปัญหาต่างๆ ในสังคม ข้อค้นพบทั้งหมดแสดงให้เห็นความสัมพันธ์ระวห่างวรรณกรรมกับสังคมและพันธกิจของนักประพันธ์ในฐานุผู้ชี้นำทางปัญญา

Writer’s Social Engagement and Contemporary Context in Piyaporn Sakkasem’s Novels

This article aims at studying writer’s social engagement in
Piyaporn Sakkasem’s novels by means of biographical criticism and
survey of themes. It is found that Piyaporn Sakkasem’s works utilize
contemporary social issues as materials for textual creation. Her writings
focus on child care, family problems, gender equality, human rights and
Buddhist Dharma as spiritual shelter and promising solutions. All findings
endorse relationship between literature and society; they also prove that
writer’s social engagement in the Thai context is to lead intellectually the
contemporary society.
