วรรณคดีสารกับการสร้างภาพลักษณะและบารมีของผู้นำของจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม

Abstract

การศึกษาเรื่อง "วรรณคดีสาร กับการสร้างภาพลักษณ์และบารมีของผู้นำของจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม" ในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาว่าจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงครามมีวิธีการสร้างภาพลักษณ์และบารมีของผู้นำ ตลอดจนการสร้างความชอบธรรมในการใช้อำนาจบริหารปกครองประเทศ อีกทั้งวิธีการหาแรงสนับสนุนและความเขื่อถือจากประชาชนอย่างไรผ่านวารสารวรรนคดีสาร ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การอุปถัมภ์ของรัฐบาลจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราาในขณะนั้น (พ.ศ.2485-2487) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า วรรนคดีสาร ทำหน้าที่เป็นสื่อในการเผยแพร่ภาพลักษณ์ที่แสดงให้เห็นว่าจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม เป็นผู้มีความสามารถ มีความเป็นผู้นำเพื่อค้ำจุนอำนาจ และที่สำคัญที่สุดคือเป็นผู้ที่มีความรักชาติเหนือสิ่งอื่นใด ซึ่งการสร้างภาพลักษณ์เหล่านี้เป็นกระบวนการสำคัญของการสร้างความชอบธรรมในการสร้างอุดมการณ์แห่งชาติ และได้รับความเชื่อมั่นจากประชาชน

Wannakadisan and the Construction of Field Marshal Plaek Phibulsongkhram’s Images and Prestige

The study of “Wannakadisan and the Construction of Field Marshal Plaek Phibulsongkhram’s Images and Prestige” aims to explore how Field Marshal Phibulsongkhram constructs images and prestige as the nation’s leader, as well as attracts the people’s support and trust through a periodical called Wannakadisan, which was under the patronage of his government at the time (1942-1944). The study finds out that the periodical were the efficient medium in creating the images of his ability and leadership to consolidate his position. More importantly, his love of the nation was unquestionable. All of which were the essential process in creating righteousness in uplifting the national spirit and gaining the people’s trust.
