Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss the effect of lacking long-term and concrete supports and possibly the solution for Nang Yai Wat Ban Don Group in Rayong Province. In 1980, Nang Yai Wat Bandon group relived again after the long abandon. It was named Nang Yai Wat Bandon and the abbot at that time, Phra Khru Burakhethwutthikorn became the group leader. The performers are children aged 6 to 23 years. They spend their free hours after schools and works practicing their crafts, Nang Yai dancing, and puppet carving, in the mentoring system. Unfortunately, these children have been supported only by a small group of temple committee and their parents which have caused difficulty for the group stability. The development each year has been growing inconsistently depends on the group's situation which is unpredictable. The findings of study result revealed that these problems need to be solved by both side, the group itself and the outsources. It should concern training programs, management system, financial support and opportunity plan.
