พระราชนิพนธ์บทละครนอกของสมเด็จพระบวรราชเจ้ามหาศักดิพลเสพ: การสืบทอดขนบและการสร้างสรรค์บทละครนอกแบบหลวง The Lakhon Nok Scripts of Somdet Phra Bowon Rat Chao Maha Sakdiphonlasep: The Continuation of Literary Convention and the Creation of Royal Court Lakhon

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสืบทอดขนบและการสร้างสรรค์ในพระราชนิพนธ์บทละครนอกของสมเด็จพระบวรราชเจ้ามหาศักดิพลเสพ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บทพระราชนิพนธ์ดังกล่าวได้สืบทอดขนบจากบทละครนอกแบบหลวงของพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัยอย่างเด่นชัด ทั้งการคัดเลือกตอนที่ใช้เป็นบทแสดง การใช้ถ้อยคำอย่างพิถีพิถัน การสร้างตัวละครให้มีบุคลิกขบขัน และการผสานบทพรรณนาแบบละครใน นอกจากนี้ พระราชนิพนธ์บทละครนอกยังมีลักษณะสร้างสรรค์หลายประการ ได้แก่ การสร้างสรรค์เนื้อหาของบทละครด้วยการดัดแปลงเนื้อหาจากวรรณคดีเก่าและด้วยการผูกเรื่องขึ้นใหม่ การสร้างเรื่องให้ทันยุคทันสมัย และการเพิ่มบทพรรณนาแบบละครในให้หลากหลายขึ้น การสืบทอดขนบและการสร้างสรรค์ดังกล่าวทำให้พระราชนิพนธ์บทละครนอกของสมเด็จพระบวรราชเจ้ามหาศักดิพลเสพมีลักษณะเด่นในฐานะบทละครนอกแบบหลวงที่มีเนื้อหาแปลกใหม่และเอื้อให้เกิดกระบวนแสดงที่งดงาม

The aim of this paper is to study the continuation of literary conventions and the creation of the Lakhon Nok scripts of Somdet Phra Bowon Rat Chao Maha Sakdiphonlasep. The findings of the study show that many elements in these Lakhon Nok scripts incorporated the literary conventions of royal court Lakhon Nok scripts composed by King Rama II such as selection of suitable episodes to perform, careful choice of words, creation of amusing characters and incorporation of poetic descriptions as in Lakhon Nai. Moreover, there are a lot of imaginative features. For example, its content was created by adapting materials from ancient literary works and fashioning new stories for performance, changing details to suit the contemporary milieu and increasing the variety of poetic description. All things considered, the continuation of literary convention imparts to the Lakhon Nok scripts of Somdet Phra Bowon Rat Chao Maha Sakdiphonlasep characteristics distinctive of royal court Lakhon Nok which facilitated beautiful performances.
