PUBLIC WELFARE MANAGEMENT OF SANGKHA ADMINISTRATORS AT BAN KHONG SUB-DISTRICT, PHOTHARAM DISTRICT, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This article was to: 1. Study participation, 2. Compare the opinions, and 3. Study problems, obstacles, and suggestions of Sangha’s participation in community development at Balueak Sub-district, Photharam District, Ratchaburi province. It was the mixed research methods. The quantitative research used the questionnaire as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 385 samples at Balueak Sub-district. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance and Least Significant Difference: LSD. And the qualitative research by documentary analysis and interview as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 7 key informants and analyzed the data through the content descriptive interpretation.

The research findings were that 1. participation had an overall opinion at high level, 2. Samples with different sex, age, education, occupation, and income did not have different opinions. The hypothesis was not accepted, and 3. problems and obstacles where some people still live their lives with negligence, should the dissemination of knowledge about Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the Dhamma of the public with an emphasis on promoting processes applied in real life. And local drug problem, should organize a training course on danger of drug abuses, especially among vulnerable youths.
