SANGHA’S PARTICIPATION IN TAI-YUAN CULTURAL CONSERVATION AT RANG-BUA SUB-DISTRICT, CHOM-BUENG DISTRICT, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article was to study participation, comparison of the opinions, problems, obstacles, and suggestions of sangha’s participation in Tai-Yuan cultural conservation at Rang Bua Sub-district, Chom-Bueng District, Ratchaburi Province. It was the mixed research methods that the quantitative research used the questionnaire as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 384 samples at Rang Bua Sub-district, Chom-Bueng District, Ratchaburi Province. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance and Least Significant Difference: LSD. And the qualitative research had the documentary analysis and interview as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 7 key informants and analyzed the data through the content analysis technique.

The research outcome finds that participation had an overall opinion at high level, age, sex, education, occupation, and incomes were not different. The hypothesis was not accepted. Problems and obstacles were the economic downturn, should promoted the culture conservation tour and create Tai-Yuan cultural products for trade. And lack of working network, should promote collaboration as a network and focusing on public relations for the new generation to instill awareness of conservation.
