TOURISM MANAGEMENT POLICY ON BUDDHISM IN THE EASTERN SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT ZONE

Abstract

This paper is an academic paper presenting the sustainable tourism management policy on Buddhism in the eastern special development zone focusing on the policy of infrastructure development, facilities to support the expansion of the tourism industry and to facilitate tourists who come to travel conveniently, quickly and safely. It also solves the problem of traffic congestion in popular tourist areas and also distributes tourists to secondary tourist attractions in the eastern special development zone, by preparing a tourist guide from U-Tapao airport to various attractions in EEC on the website for foreigners to plan travel. It is being promoted the recommended tourist attractions in the EEC and doing Buddhist activities for tourists to gain knowledge of history of various religious places along with being able to apply doctrines and principles in daily life. The Buddhist principles related to the development of tourism management are the Aparihaniyadhamma 7 principles, which are appropriate principles for social development. It is fair and does not deteriorate, leading to unilateral prosperity. It is a principle for application in the development of the efficient tourism management.
