PREPARATION FOR ENTERING THE ELDERLY SOCIETY OF PEOPLE IN PHETCHABUN PROVINCE.

Abstract

Phetchabun, the province with a variety of ethnic groups, traditions, cultures and livelihoods. Therefore, the preparation for entering the elderly society of people in Phetchabun province is very important. But most people ignore this problem and focus on the present over the future. Current demographic data indicates that approximately 9% of the population is over the age of 65 and by 2040 will reach 25% of the total population. In addition, it was found that Two-thirds of the elderly in Thailand have no savings, and the portion with savings of more than 1 million baht is only 5% of the total elderly population. Elderly people's well-being in Thailand is still limited. Therefore, preparing for entry into an aging society should be done jointly by the public and private sectors. By working together to organize activities to disseminate knowledge about health, savings and investments. This encourages us to see the importance of integrating ourselves into an aging society. including providing knowledge about social and psychological adjustment and applying the necessary innovations and technologies in daily life with good management and development, Thailand will be out of the crisis very easily.
