Abstract

Thai society can be considered a completely aging society. Because there are more than 10 percent of the elderly according to the United Nations criteria. In addition, the elderly population has tendency to live longer. At the same time, the problems that parallel the elderly is loneliness effecting the health of the elderly holistically and may lead to depression and behavioral changes in the elderly. Therefore, this article aimed to present the management of loneliness in the elderly with the following guidelines: 1) Find friends in a group (Peer counseling) will not have problems with lack of friends. or lack of group when old 2) Make choices for life in many different aspects. 3) Do hobbies that satisfy you. 4) Create a social friend group. 5) Do not cut yourself off from the outside world. 6) Play loneliness games and help exercise your brain and 7) Maintain fresh mental health and physical health.
