MONASTERY ADMINIUSTRATION ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE MODERN ERA

Abstract

This academic article focused on the study of 3 main issues: 1. Principles of good governance and human resource management in monasteries. 2. Leadership of monks in monastery administration and 3. Monastery administration in the present era. From the study of concepts, books, textbooks and from synthesis, the author's analysis revealed that human resource management in the monasteries consisted of: 1) principles of accuracy according to the discipline Sangha’s rules and civil law, 2) Principles of suitability referring to the knowledge of the abbots for organization management, 3) the principle of purity and transparency of the Administrative Sangha, separated into policy formulation and policy implementation, and 4) the principle of justice. without prejudice. Leadership of Administrative monks for monasteries administration consisted of Buddhist leadership consisting of wisdom, discipline, courage to make decisions, knowledge and acting as an example. and the principles of Aparihaniya-dharmma 7, namely, regularly meeting, etc. As for the administration of monasteries in the present era, it relies on the principles of Dharma and Vinaya,Discipline. Sangha Act Civil law in the monasteries administration.
