BUDDHIST INTEGRATION TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE OF JAPANESE COMPANIES IN THAILAND

Abstract

This research article aimed to study good governance of Japanese companies in Thailand, factors Affecting corporate good governance of Japanese companies in Thailand and to present an Integrated Buddhist Model to Promote corporate good governance of Japanese companies in Thailand, conducted by the mixed research methods. Part1 the quantitative research using questionnaires to collect data from 322sa samples.  Data were analyzed by Means, Standard Deviation. Part2 The qualitative research collected data by interviewing 18 key informants and 9 participants in focus group discussion. Data were analyzed by content descriptive interpretation.

The research findings were as follows: 1. Good governance of Japanese companies in Thailand the overall was at a high level, compliance was at a high level, followed by Responsibility Information Disclosure and Transparency 2. Factors affecting the corporate good governance of Japanese companies in Thailand was found that the aspect of improvement at the moderate value at 4.14 and the Gharavasa-dhamma 4 at the moderate value of mean at 4.03 3. Buddhist integrated model for promoting the corporate good governance was found that Secular the management according to PDCA principle by fundamental factors in promoting good governance that integrated the principles of Gharavasa-dhamma 4 namely, Sajja, Dharma, Khanti, and Cagha.
