BUDDHIST INTEGRATION FOR PERSONNEL’S PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY PROMOTION OF THE DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE DEPARTMENT BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINITRATION

Abstract

Objective of this research paper is to study operational efficiency. Factors affecting operational efficiency and to present integrated Buddhism to promote the efficiency of work of Drainage Department personnel. Bangkok Conducting integrated research methods the population used in the research is personnel of the Department of Drainage. Calculate the sample size using Taro Yamane's formula, resulting in a sample size of 368 samples with 18 key informants or people using questionnaires and structured interviews as tools. Descriptive data analysis Using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation values. Stepwise multiple regression analysis with statistical package and field study using in-depth interviews to confirm the quantitative results from key informants again.

The research findings revealed that 1. Personnel’s performance efficiency, by overall, was at moderate level that were consisted of quality of work, time and costs, 2. Factors Affecting Personnel’s Performance Efficiency of the Drainage and Sewerage Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was found that the performance according to the principle of 7’s and the Principle of Iddhipada 4 affected the personnel’s performance efficiency of the Drainage and Sewerage Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration with Statistically significant value at the 0.05 level. 3. Buddhist Integration for Personnel’s Performance Efficiency Promotion of the Drainage and Sewerage Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was the Buddhist Integration of Itthipấda 4 was as follows: 1. Chanta, affection for that thing, 2. Viriya, Perseverance in that thing, 3. Citta, attention to that thing,
4. Wimamsấ, diligence in that thing. There was an internal management in the organization according to the 7’s principle to increase the personnel’s performance efficiency of the Drainage and Sewerage Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration consisted of strategy formulation. Improvement of organizational structure, working style development, management system development, personnel development, skill development and creating shared values to increase personnel’s performance efficiency of the Drainage and Sewerage Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
