PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN MUNGRAISARTTARA LITERATURE

Abstract

This academic article was a study of Mungraisarttara literature that Phaya Mangrai prescribed. The objectives were to study and compared the provisions of Mungraisarttara literature with current theoretical concepts of public administration. It was found that, most of the Mungraisarttara literature discussed principles of jurisprudence and political science consisting of laws, rules, regulations, and rulings on various cases. As for the principles of public administration, there were few, only management principles were found, consisting of Human resource management, Organization and Management of public policy that reflected the current government administration has the foundation of processes and principles that have been developed from the past for over a long period of time.
