BALA DHAMMA APPLICATION FOR EFFECTIVENESS OF PUBLIC BICYCLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF BANGKOK METROPOLITS

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To study the effectiveness of project management. 2. To study factors affecting the effectiveness of project management and 3. To present a model for the effectiveness of management of public bicycle projects to connect with mass transit services in Bangkok, conducted by mixed research methods. The quantitatively research, data were collected with a questionnaire from 380 samples who were members of a public bicycle project in Bangkok and the qualitative research collected data by interviewing 18 key informants.

The results of the research were found that: 1. Effectiveness of the management of the public bicycle project, by overall, was at a high level.
2. Factors affecting the effectiveness of public bicycle project management include the quality management cycle, consisting of practice, planning, improvement, inspection, and Bala 4 principles, consisted of Sangkhaphala (support power). Viriyapala (strength of perseverance), Panyapala (strength of knowledge), Anawatchapala (strength of honesty) affected the effectiveness of the management of the public bicycle project to connect to mass transit services in Bangkok with tatistically significant value at the 0.05 level.
3. Effectiveness model for managing the public bicycle project in all 5 areas, consisting of production or product, efficiency, satisfaction, adjustment, development, by applying the principles of Dhamma to increase management effectiveness. Manage the public bicycle project, consisting of Panyapha (power of knowledge), Viriyapha (power of perseverance), Anawatchapha (power of honesty) and Sangkhapha (power of assistance). It is reinforced with a quality management cycle consisting of planning, implementation. Work inspection, and work improvement.
